The Hawks (11-8, 1-1 ICCAC) were held to just 29 points in the first half and 25 in the second as the Tigers kept Northeast from gaining any momentum.
Daniel Akuei (Melbourne, Australia) tallied 15 points and seven rebounds. Oyiti Amum (Melbourne, Australia) added 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Asher Scavella (Nassau, Bahamas) had 10 points.
Northeast takes the court against No. 4 Indian Hills Community College at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
