Northeast men cruise past York College JV

Denn recorded 22 points on 8-of-13 from the field, including four 3-pointers. The freshman helped the Hawks jump out to a 48-29 lead at halftime, while putting up 56 points in the final half to go over the century mark for the second time this week.
Michael Anderson (Lincoln, Neb.) pitched in 15 points and six rebounds, while Daniel Akuei (Melbourne, Australia) had a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards. Emmette Page (Crystal, Minn.) and Oyiti Amum (Melbourne, Australia) added 10 points each. Asher Scavella (Nassau, Bahamas) had 10 points and six rebounds.
The Hawks shot 53 percent from the field, while holding the Panthers to only 33 percent.
Northeast welcomes Peru State College JV for a 7 p.m. battle on Monday in Norfolk.
