BEATRICE, Neb. -- The Northeast Community College men's basketball team was unable to rally back to defeat Southeast Community College on Wednesday night, falling 93-87 in Beatrice, Neb.
Emmette Page (Crystal, Minn.) led the Hawks with 39 points on 12-of-26 shooting from the field, while adding nine rebounds. Ben Moxness (Scribner, Neb.) added 12 points and six boards, while Asher Scavella (Nassau, Bahamas) chipped in a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Hawks continue non-conference play, taking on Iowa Central Community in the Great Western Shootout at 7 p.m. in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
