The Hawks (1-1) were led by sophomore point guard Emmette Page (Crystal, Minn.) with 20 points and five assists. Ben Moxness (Scribner, Neb.) added 18 points and nine boards, while Daniel Akuei (Melbourne, Australia) had 17 points and eight rebounds.
Coming off the bench, Deon'ta Tinker (Nassau, Bahamas) pitched in 13 points, while Merrix Denn (Osmond, Neb.) added 10 points.
The Hawks shot 44 percent from the field and 82 percent from the charity stripe.
Northeast will host the Hawks Classic on Friday and Saturday, taking on Iowa Lakes Community at 8 p.m. on Friday and Iowa Central Community College at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
