Best performed former Northeast Community College players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Hawks players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Khapri Alston (6'6''-PF-94, played in 2013-14, plays pro in Philippines) could not help Columbian Dyip (4-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Columbian Dyip was crushed113-90on the road by the higher-ranked (#4) Ginebra Kings. Alston had a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 22 rebounds in 42 minutes. It was Columbian Dyip's third consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Alston has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 28.5ppg, 18.2rpg, 3.2apg, 1.3bpg and 2.5spg in 11 games he played so far.

   #2. Marty Hill (6'5''-G, played in 2015-17, plays in Slovakia) led Levice to a victory over the closely-ranked Prievidza (5-3) crushing them 86-66 in the Slovakian SBL on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Hill recorded 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Patrioti Leviceis placed in the SBL. It's Hill's first year with the team. This season Hill averages 5.4ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.6apg.

   #3. Kyle Kilgore (6'7''-F, played in 2013-14, currently in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala was not able to help Constanta (2-4) in their last game. Despite Kilgore's good performance the fifth-placed Constanta (2-4) lost93-80on the opponent's court to the second-ranked Medias in the Group B. He scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 27 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Kilgore's third season in pro basketball. It was Constanta's third consecutive loss in a row. It's Kilgore's first year with the team. This season he averages 8.7ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.5spg in six games.

   #4. Chima Moneke (6'3''-F-95, played in 2013-15, plays pro in France) was the major contributor in a Quimper UJAP's victory against the tenth-ranked SPO Rouen (3-3) 73-68 in the French ProB (second division) last Saturday. He scored 16 points, had 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Quimper UJAP (4-2) is placed sixth in the ProB. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Moneke's first year with the team. Moneke has relatively good stats this season 14.2ppg and 5.8rpg.

   #5. Axel Mpoyo (6'8''-F, played in 2015-17, plays in Cyprus) contributed to Apoel's victory against the closely-ranked AEL (1-4) 66-52 in the Cypriot OPAP Basket League on Saturday night. He scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes. Cytavision Apoel Nicosia (3-3) is placed fifth in the OPAP Basket League. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Mpoyo's first season with the team. This year Mpoyo averages 8.6ppg and 4.4rpg in five games.

   #6. Experienced Jeffrey Henfield (6'4''-PG-85, played in 2004-06, currently in Bahamas) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked High Flyers crushing them 97-69 in a derby game in the Bahamas NPBA in Friday night's game. Henfield scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This season he averages 6.3ppg, 5.3rpg, 2.0apg and 2.0spg.

   #7. Gjio Bain (6'11''-C-85, played in 2004-06, plays pro in Japan) contributed to Kanazawa's victory against the league outsider Gifu Swoops 89-78 in the Japanese B3 League last Friday. Bain scored 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 22 minutes. He has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg, 9.6rpg and 1.1bpg in 14 games.

Jalen Bradley (6'1''-G-93, played in 2014-15) plays for Sunshine Coast Rip in Australian QBL
Cyrus Tate (6'8''-F/C-85, played in 2004-05) plays for Iowa United in the The Basketball Tournament
